“genesisbe Very proud to announce my new album “Tom Boy” drops on the full moon of June (24th) 🌚❤️

I dedicate this album to Gustav Elijah Åhr also known as @lilpeep . May he rest in power. I started writing this project in April of 2020, during quarantine, right after a difficult break up. Recorded it right in my closet, surrounded by dirty laundry. Throughout the course of writing I would lose 3 beautiful friends of mine, my first time really dealing with with the absoluteness of death in such close proximity. This project was my therapy through it all, it’s quite upbeat and sensual as I had to really pull from and find my inner joy to balance myself. I was truly inspired by Peep's vulnerable emoting lyrics about love, heartbreak, life and death... and his minimalist style of his production. His music and story really helped me out of a dark place, as did the process of writing of "Tom Boy".
